The 147th District encompasses parts of Stamford and New Canaan, and includes several of Fairfield County’s great neighborhoods, such as Westover, North Stamford, Scofieldtown, and the west side of New Canaan. In terms of geographic size, the 147th is Stamford’s largest State Representative district, and covers much of the northern half of the city, stretching northeast from the Stamford/Greenwich border into New Canaan.
