Bruen: This is an area to watch going forward. Connecticut filed an amicus in New York State Rifle & Pistol v. Bruen regarding New York state’s handgun licensing law. The SCOTUS decision does not immediately impact Connecticut’s licensing laws, but invites what we anticipate will be a wave of new litigation nationwide and in Connecticut—potentially impacting post-Sandy Hook state laws.
